The Buddha group of institutions started from a simple beginning of a Sanskrit Sastri School to a furnished group of institutions from LKG to professional courses like M.Ed, B.Ed, TTC/D.Ed within a span of time from 1920 to 2012 all these institutions are now under T.K Divakaran Memorial Charitable Educational Trust, which is a trust in Kerala which has the above institution and the trustees ambitious to start more Educational Institutions beneficial for the common people.
BUDDHA Educational Centre Central School is an English Medium Co-educational School with Pre School, LKG, UKG and Standard I – X. Buddha Education Centre was established in 2002 and is owned, managed and run by Divakaran Charitable Trust. The school provides a happy blend of Quality Education, Personal Care and Affection. Lord Buddha, the saint went in search of finding a remedy against the suffering of the poor. The main motive of Buddha Education Centre Central School is to uplift the educational competencies and consequent empowerment of the society.
The school is run by a team of eminent and experienced educationalists with the objective of giving the students an education which helps them to develop an integrated personality with sound educational background and interpersonal skills, to develop clean and disciplined habits and to get good moral and physical training.
The School is an active member of Sahodaya School Complex and thus facilitate the interschool Sports and cultural events. In 2016 the School attained prestigious ISO certification ISO 9000-2015.
